The Alumni Relations Committee of the Alumni Association Council is pleased to recognize Ruth Koehler Bergerson '66 for her outstanding volunteer work on behalf of the College.
Ruth Koehler Bergerson '66 has served as class agent for nearly 30 years now, and has helped organize reunions for nearly that long. Grinnellians form close bonds, and perhaps this was more so in the '60s and before, when the school was more cloistered than it is today; no Internet, no cars, or for that matter, no Interstate 80. We celebrate education, relationships, and the continuum of Grinnellians.

There have been dramatic changes in 2008 and the Grinnell community has the capacity to come together to celebrate our students. Today's students need everyone to hold fast, make gifts, and show them the world they are stepping into as adults is a good one. Their lifetimes will encompass decisions we cannot begin to imagine for them.
Unwavering annual support is behind the students proud to call themselves Grinnellians. Each member of the community has a significant role ensuring the Grinnell experience. Consider a gift that is meaningful to you and appropriate to your circumstances. Some donors will be in a position to increase their gift this year. Others will be challenged to make the same gift they made last time. Still others will need to scale their giving back a bit. Make the decision that is right for you.
Make a gift each month, each quarter, each semester, or each year through our secure online server. Feel free to call 866-850-1846.
Our fiscal year runs from July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009 and gifts received during this time frame will be reported in the fall 2009 Grinnell Magazine's Honor Roll of Giving.
Providing a Grinnell education is one of the best investments you can make in the future. While the cost of education rises, donors fill in the gap to make it possible to for students to continue their course of study regardless of their changing means.
