The Grinnell College Swimming and Diving team is an NCAA Division III varsity program and a member of the competitive Midwest Conference. The mission of our program is to generate a specific type of environment that fosters individual and team success, and individual and team growth and development. Through success, challenges and evaluation of their performances, the athletes learn more about themselves and how they can reach new heights in and out of the pool. Fast Swimming is a result of smart swimming. It is our job as coaches to draw out the swimmer's self-knowledge and combine it with the coach's knowledge to create an outstanding result. We ensure that the student-athletes have the means necessary to reach their individual and team goals.
