High School:
She learned how to swim during her sophomore year and went on to earn three letters during her career. She earned the Most Improved Award, Perfect Attendance Award, Spirit Award, was named Captain and MVP. She also lettered two years in both soccer and track. Aside from athletics, she was listed on the Honor Roll and was a member of the National Honor Society.
