Grinnell, located in central Iowa, is an hour east of Des Moines on U.S. I-80.
We are within driving distance of several major Midwest cities:

- Minneapolis-St. Paul (5 hours),
- Kansas City (4 hours),
- St. Louis (6 hours), and
- Omaha (3 hours).
You can fly to the Des Moines airport and Cedar Rapids airport from major cities nationwide. Both airports are approximately one hour from Grinnell College.
