Roots and Its Impact on Race and Politics on the Screen Opening
4:15-6 p.m.
Incoming Film Studies professor Theresa Geller will discuss the issues of race and politics and their representation on television up to the 1977 premiere of the miniseries Roots and the dramatic impact of the miniseries on those issues.
