High School:
Attended Del Ville HS…lettered in football, and participated in soccer and track. For football, was a starter junior and senior year, received All-City, and played in the 14th Annual El Paso Senior All-Star Football Classic. Was position leader junior year and team captain senior year. Senior year, his team was bi-district champion, and a regional semi-finalist in the Texas State playoffs. Aside from athletics, was top 10% of class, two time Academic All-District, member of National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, and the Dual Language Advisory Board. Received the Conquistador Award for having the highest grade point average on the football team.
