Attended Mt. Vernon HS…lettered in cross country and swimming all four years, and track for one year. Was Ohio Central Conference Scholar Athlete and Mt. Vernon News' Swimmer of the Year 2007. Aside from athletics, was a member of National Honors Society and a 3 year Academic Letter winner.
