Expanding Knowledge Initiative
The Expanding Knowledge Initiative was one result of our recent Strategic Plan.
The EKI calls for:
- Increased interdisciplinary course offerings
- Second-year retreat for students
- Appointment of three IDS Fellows from among existing Grinnell Faculty members
- Increased faculty size through strategic faculty appointments
- An Office of Interdisciplinary Studies, with a director reporting to the Dean of the
College and advised by a faculty board
