Academic Advising Office maintains the following publications to support student success.

Academic Planning for New Students — This guide helps students who are new to the College navigate our expectations as students of the liberal arts, understand their role as advisees, begin to plan a program of study, and learn about the academic experiences and academic support systems that the College offers.

Departmental Advising and Registration Suggestions — Faculty members from each department provide suggestions for new students regarding which courses to take and in what order, with an eye towards leaving open the possibility of majoring in that discipline.

Academic Honesty Booklet (PDF file) — This document includes the College’s official policy on academic honesty, scholarly integrity, collaboration, and the ethical use of sources, as well as exercises and case studies to help students think about their role as scholars.

Resources for Academic Success (login required) — learn about policies available to you for academic planning and browse guides to help you with time management and effective study skills.

Academic Transitions Booklet (PDF file) — This document guides new students through the transition from high school to college.
