Currently enrolled full-time first-, second-, or third-year students in good academic standing who have secured an 8- to 10-week, full-time summer internship are encouraged to register their internship through the CLS. Registering your internship with the CLS provides support and documentation for your experience. In addition, students who qualify for need-based financial aid may receive assistance during the 14-15 academic year to replace the summer earnings portion of the expected family contribution if they are unable to earn and save all of the $2500. The additional financial aid may take the form of increased grant, work-study employment or a student loan as determined by your financial aid eligibility and Grinnell College’s awarding policies. Complete the regular process to apply for need-based financial aid by the April 15 deadline for consideration. The Financial Aid Office will notify you of your eligibility.
