Annual Campus Security & Fire Report Notice

The Grinnell College Campus Safety and Security Office publishes an annual Campus Security Report and Fire Safety Report. The Office is required by law to send out a notice of the availability of the reports to the campus community. The Campus Security Report includes statistics for the most recent three year period concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus , in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Grinnell College, and on public property within, or adjacent to and accessible from, the campus. The report includes institutional policies concerning campus security such as policies concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, and reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters. Campus Security Authorities (CSA) are reminded to view their roles and responsibilities concerning crime reporting at the Campus Safety and Security website under the Clery Annual Disclosure Report location. A list of CSA’s is contained in the annual report. The Fire Safety Report contains fire safety and statistical information concerning the Grinnell College campus. As of October 1, 2010 the Fire Safety Report is required by federal law.
