The Student Publications building is located between James and Haines residence halls on South Campus. The building houses production space, computer workstations, and some office space. Student Publications and Radio Committee (SPARC) is an elected student group that represents the students, administration, and trustees of Grinnell College as the publisher and over-seer of all student media on the Grinnell campus, including The Scarlet & Black, the college newspaper; The Grinnell Review, a campus literary magazine; 88.5 FM KDIC, the radio station; and The Cyclone, the college yearbook.
