Campus Safety and Security

The security staff currently consists of one dispatcher, four officers, one assistant director, and one director. The security office also employs students who work as dispatchers, building monitors, and safety escorts. The mission of the Grinnell College Safety & Security Department is to protect persons and property while maintaining an atmosphere of order on the Grinnell College Campus. The goal is to provide an environment where students, faculty and staff can conduct their academic and related activities in a safe and suitable manner.
