Set on North Campus, Younker Hall, which is divided into north and south sections, was built in 1951 with funds provided by the Benjamin A. Younker family of Des Moines, Iowa.

Younker Hall features two kitchens, laundry facilities, a computer lab with a printer, and four student lounges, including the spacious Younker Lounge, which houses a piano and a number of couches that can be arranged for student meetings, presentations, and parties. The dorm rooms are available as doubles and singles, and one floor is single-sex. The Stonewall Resource Center in the lower level provides a library, meeting space, and student volunteers for a number of LGBTQ student organizations.
