Application to Study a Language

Learning a language through ALSO's self-instructional program requires a great deal of time, energy, self-direction, and self-discipline. To be accepted to the program, please fill out the following application and provide the attached recommendation forms to two references, one of whom must be your advisor. Please apply early in the pre-registration process so that the Director can determine whether a particular language class is viable. Any students who apply and are approved between pre-registration and the start of classes the following semester will have to add the class (if it has been deemed viable) using an Add/Drop form.
