This office produces & maintains material for the image database PDID (Pioneer Digital Image Database). Primarily serving the Art Historians in the Art Dept, it is also used in the support of teaching & research across the curriculum. With nearly 100,000 images in the database, the collection reflects a general survey of world art & architecture, from pre-history to the present. The images themselves are the product of digitized slides, purchase from vendors, or digital scanning & photography.
