Undergraduate Biological Sciences Education Program grant from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute
In August, 2000, Grinnell College was awarded an Undergraduate Biological
Sciences Education Program grant from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
As part of this award, Grinnell has organized
an annual symposium to highlight the research being done in Iowa by undergraduates
and their mentors in the fields of biology, chemistry, and neuroscience. We hope to gather students
and faculty from across Iowa for a day of stimulating learning and scientific exchange.
