A Campbell Scientific Tripod Weather Station was installed at CERA in late May/early June 2001. Use these links to view the HOURLY DATA, and DAILY DATA collected from our weather station. Please note, most current data will be at the bottom of these files. The weather station is equipped with sensors to measure the following hourly and daily variables.
Hourly Variables
  • Precipitation - Total (mm)
  • Air Temperature - Average (°C)
  • Relative Humidity - Maximum (%)
  • Solar Radiation - Average (kWatts)
  • Wind Speed - Average (meters/sec)
  • Wind Speed - Maximum (meters/sec)
  • Wind Speed - Direction (degrees)
  • Wind Speed - Standard Deviation (degrees)
Daily Variables
  • Precipitation - Total (mm)
  • Air Temperature - Max (°C)
  • Air Temperature - Hour and Minute of Max
  • Air Temperature - Min (°C)
  • Air Temperature - Hour and Minute of Min
  • Relative Humidity - Maximum (%)
  • Relative Humidity - Hour and Minute of Max
  • Relative Humidity - Min (%)
  • Relative Humidity - Hour and Minute of Min
  • Solar Radiation - Average (kWatts)
  • Solar Radiation - Max (kWatts)
  • Solar Radiation - Hour and Minute of Max
  • Wind Speed - Average (m/s)
  • Wind Speed - Max (m/s)
  • Wind Speed - Hour and Minute of Max
  • Wind Speed - Min (m/s)
  • Wind Speed - Hour and Minute of Min
  • Wind Speed - Direction (degrees)
  • Wind Speed - Standard Deviation (degrees)
Soil Temperature and Moisture
Sensors to measure soil temperature and soil moisture have been installed in each of four plots receiving a different treatment in teh fire/mow experiment. Due to faulty temperature and moisture sensors, we have sporadic data between June 2001 and early September 2002. We have a complete data set for all four plots for both variables starting September 7, 2002.
