White-tailed deer (Odocoileus virginianus) skull and jaw bones have been collected periodically since 2001 for the purpose of aging animals that died due to natural causes or were mortally wounded during controlled hunts. Collection year and location data are available for many of the specimens. The specimens are available for teaching and research.
