2 This course is a complement to the general methods course, EDU-340. It will provide prospective ESL practitioners with the methodologies necessary to develop into successful and thoughtful teachers. We will examine past and current approaches, methods, and techniques for teaching ESL. Students will explore the political and cultural implications for teaching ESL in the United States and overseas.
Prerequisite:
Education 101, 221, and 250; and 210, 211, 212, 213, 214, or 215.
Co-requisite:
