Research

Professor Erickson has maintained an active research program in nuclear magnetic resonance (nmr) spectroscopy, the co-ordination chemistry of platinum group metals, kinetics and mechanisms of solution reactions, molecular mechanics and molecular modeling. Nearly 100 undergraduate students have worked with him on this research which is reported in over 30 publications--most with Grinnell undergraduate co-authors--in the primary literature.
