Off-Campus Study International study is an integral element of a Grinnell College education. Students can study for a semester, or in some cases a year, in any of the world's continents except Antarctica. The Center works to ensure that every off-campus study experience reflects the academic standards of the College. For more information about individual programs, visit the Off-Campus Study website.

Advanced Student Research (MAPs) Certain students pursuing a Mentored Advanced Project (MAP) can apply for funds to conduct research at an international location. For more information about international travel and MAPs, visit the MAP Program website.

Internships and Post-Graduate Opportunities Through the Career Development Office, students can apply for internships in international locations. The CDO also provides assistance in finding post-graduate job and internship opportunities in international locations. Through our partnership with Nanjing University in China, graduating seniors can apply to spend a year in Nanjing teaching English after graduation. For more information, visit the Office of Social Commitment-Grinnell Corps website.
