Professor Jonathan Andelson, director of the Center for Prairie Studies, presented the keynote address at the annual meeting of the Iowa Transportation Museum in Grinnell on May 20, 2011 – "J.B. Grinnell and the Railroads: Local History and a Second Look." The museum continues to make progress remodeling the Spaulding Factory building in Grinnell and hopes to have one portion open by spring 2012.
