The Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) is the largest archive of social science datasets. Data is made available free of charge to member institutions.

Grinnell College is a member through a federation with ACM and GLCA Colleges. We already have some ICPSR datasets available on campus for Economics, Political Science, and Sociology. If you do not find what you are looking for, browse the ICPSR Catalog.

The catalog can be searched by keywords found in titles or abstracts of studies, as well as by study number. It can also be searched topically. It usually takes less than two business days to obtain any dataset in the catalog free of charge to you or the college.
