The Inter-universtiy Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) also offers a summer program of courses for faculty, graduate students and exceptional undergraduates. These courses range from introductory courses such as "Mathematics for Social Scientists" and "Introduction to Statistics and Data Analysis" to quite advanced classes focusing either on specific procedures or substantive areas (like History or African Studies).

ICPSR offers a number of partial scholarships to participants from member institutions. Grinnell College is a member institution.
