World Development Indicators (WDI) is a database and browser published anually in the late spring by the World Bank.
From the Introduction: "[The database contains]...more than 500 time series indicators covering the years 1960 through 2000, where data are available. It also contains all the tables from the WDI book and the Atlas, including those covering the 200 or so indicators for which only a single year of data is available. Definition and sources notes are linked to each indicator. Some quick reference tables are also included."
World Development Indicators is available for installation on any computer running MS Windows connected to the Grinnell College campus network. For installation instructions or assistance contact a CTS.
