Amy R. Nestor received her A.B. in Medieval Studies from Cornell University,
and her M.A. and Ph.D. in American Literature from SUNY Buffalo.
Her current research project focuses on Walt Whitman, W.E.B. Du Bois, and the
traumatic structure of American History.
