Law Intern

I work at a solicitor's (basically lawyers) office in northern London. The office specializes in mental health and family law, but I work almost entirely in the mental health department where the goal, for the most part, is to get patients discharged from hospital. The daily work involves me going out to hospitals in every part of London, meeting with clients and collecting information for their tribunals. Once all this information is gathered I come back to the office and do the necessary work on their files. I have also clerked in a few family court hearings at the Royal Courts of Justice and have done other random work that needs doing around this busy office. Basically, I am kept pretty busy and every new day I come into contact with new places, people, and challenges. This experience is amazing!
