Resumé Session for GIL interns

Megan Crawford of the Career Development Office will offer a specialized workshop for student interns on GIL and GIW. This is an important first step in preparing yourself to apply for internships.

 

GIL Orientation

Monday, 22 April, 7-9pm, ARH 102

Mandatory orientation during which we will cover what you need to do to prepare for GIL before leaving campus as well as over the summer. The first hour will be for all 2013 GIL participants, the second hour will be just for interns on matters such as visa applications.

 

Internship Orientation Sessions

Monday, 6 May or Tuesday 7 May at 4:15pm, JRC 101

Megan Crawford from the CDO will present you with ideas for how to approach your internship as an academic experience and as one relevant for career development. You will learn more about the academic work that is expected of you in order to get course credit for your internships.
