Please take this as an overview and limit your outside plans until after the first several weeks in London. Details for the semester will be finalized then. You will learn about your personal course timetable at that time.
Monday, 19 August Recommended date for flying to London (for those with pre-arranged housing)
Tuesday, 20 August Recommended arrival date (for those with pre-arranged housing)
Grinnell-in-London office open: 1 to 4 pm
Saturday, 14 December Departure from program

Wednesday, 22 August WELCOME TEA: 3 pm, at teaching site
Grinnell-in-London office open: 9am to 12pm
Thursday, 23 August Grinnell-in-London office open: 9am to 12pm
Friday, 24 August MANDATORY ORIENTATION: 10 am, at teaching site
Saturday, 25 August Free day for personal business or sight-seeing.
Sunday, 26 August Half-day coach tour of London, leaving teaching site at 9.30 am
Garden party at Prof. Vinter’s home at 3.30 pm, weather permitting
Monday, 27 August Summer Bank Holiday (Britain)
Tuesday, 28 August Phase I classes begin
Phase I program office hours begin
Thursday, 25 October Phase I classes end
Friday, 26 October to Fall Break; program office is closed
Sunday, 4 November
Monday, 5 November Phase II begins (classes and internships)
Phase II program office hours begin
Friday, 14 December Phase II ends; program office closes at 4 pm
Saturday, 15 December Recommended departure date
