Thompson-Markward Hall (YWCH- Young Woman's Christian Home)
YWCH is open to all women, regardless of religious orientation. YWCH is in a beautiful, ornate, brick mansion located directly east of the building housing the senators, right by the Capitol (!). All 150 residents of YWCH have singles. Students do share bathrooms, living spaces, the beautiful courtyard, and the library, in addition to the one computer available for student use. YCWH has a cafeteria and provides breakfast and supper. This cost is included in the cost of housing. The student lounges have refrigerators for food storage so that students can buy groceries for lunch. The Young Woman's Christian Home is a special place, suitable for students interested in respecting the rules that help to create and maintain the open and accepting community found within this beautiful brick mansion.
