Grinnell's Gender, Women's, and Sexuality Studies (GWSS) program comprises of faculty from a wide variety of departments and disciplines (some of whom sit on the GWSS Curriculum Commitee), the GWSS Student Educational Policy Committee and, of course, our talented students.

Lakesia Johnson (photo on left) teaches Introduction to GWSS (GWS 111), Theory and Methodology in GWSS, (GWS 249), and the Senior Seminar in GWSS (GWS 495). She also regularly teaches Feminism and Popular Culture (GWS 235) and Critical Race Feminisms (GWS 324). 

Astrid Henry (photo on right) teaches Introduction to GWSS (GWS 111), Theory and Methodology in GWSS, (GWS 249), and the Senior Seminar in GWSS (GWS 495). She also regularly teaches Foundations of LGBTQ Studies (GWS 211) and Feminist Memoirs (ENG/GWS 331).
