JAZZ ENSEMBLE

The Grinnell Jazz Ensemble is open to instrumentalists and vocalists who are seriously interested in learning and playing a variety of jazz and blues styles. The ensemble frequently performs works by Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Toshiko Akiyoshi, Sammy Nestico, Miles Davis, and Charles Mingus. Students who are interested in joining the Ensemble must pass an audition which is held the first night of rehearsal.
