The Peace Studies Program is seeking faculty members who are interested in acting as moderator/discussants for one panel at the 2010 Peace Studies Student Conference. The moderator/discussant would be responsible for reading three or four student papers, moderating a presentation panel, and commenting on papers after students have presented them. Discussants will be asked to bring out common themes and connections between the papers, point out strengths of the papers and provide constructive feedback.
The Peace Studies Program is also asking faculty members to encourage students who may have an interest in writing papers related to peace and conflict or who may actually be doing so in their classes to submit these papers and participate in the conference.
