The Peace Studies Program, in conjunction with the Center for International Studies, invites students who have photos they took abroad or in the U.S. to submit photos that may be displayed at the Peace Studies Conference in early March. We are looking for photos that illustrate conflicts that need to be addressed (e.g. environmental, ethnic, regional, religious, political) as well as peacebuilding efforts (e.g. equal access to resources and education, human rights work, intercultural dialogue, women's cooperatives, microfinancing projects) If you have any pictures to share that fit this description, please send them to Val Vetter along with a paragraph for each one briefly describing a) the picture, and b) how it relates to Peace Studies. Photos will be selected by the Peace Studies committee and displayed in the JRC during the Peace Studies conference.. Please send your photos by Monday, February 15.
