Each year, Grinnell students and incarcerated students work together to edit Concrete Perspectives, an anthology of writing and artwork from the Newton Correctional Facility. As the program expands, the anthology serves as an opportunity to reflect and share experiences.

Concrete Perspectives 2009 was edited by Susan Kikuchi and produced by the Grinnell Liberal Arts in Prison Program with generous support from the Peace Studies Program, Fogfast, and the Student Government Association.
