Chris Ralston received his B.A. from Jamestown College, and his M.S. and Ph.D. (Counseling Psychology) from Iowa State University. He is a licensed psychologist in the state of Iowa. As a co-author of the Juvenile Sexual Offender Recidivism Risk Assessment Tool - II (JSORRAT-II), his research focuses on factors predictive of sexual recidivism amongst individuals already detected for historical sexual offenses. In addition, he is developing a line of research investigating the role of stigma in seeking help for mental health issues.

Personally, Dr. Ralston's most favorite past time is spending time with his family and friends, particularly when it involves cooking a wonderful meal. He also enjoys his attempts at golf, watching sporting events, traveling, and attending concerts.
