CHRISTIANE CARNEY JOHNSON (Russian and Political Science). After Grinnell, Christiane got her M.A. in Russian Studies at Yale (thanks to Mr. Moyer, Mr. Grey and the late Mr. Mohan), worked in political risk insurance in NYC for Chubb and AIG and then in Washington D.C. for OPIC (thanks to Mr. Bracken at SOM). She travelled often to Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia for work and then moved to Moscow for 6 years to work for PriceWaterhouseCoopers in consulting and corporate finance. Amazing what you can do with a Russian degree from Yale.
