HILARY BOWN (Russian and German) Following her completion of the NFLI Russian Flagship Program in St.
Petersburg, Russia, Hilary Bown '02 entered the one-year Master's degree
program in Peace and Security Studies at the University of Hamburg,
Germany. Now a triple master, she is currently seeking employment in
international organizations from Berlin, Germany. She recently met up
with Tolya Vishevsky at the ICCEES Regional European Conference, held in
August in Berlin.

KIMBERLY SMITH (Russian and English) Kim is in law school at the University of Oklahoma (Kim adds that she goes to law school "with another Grinnell alum who was really disappointed when we met to find out that I'm not a wacky liberal, but a boring old conservative). Kim will be graduating in December of 2005, and plans on going into family law. She'll also be getting married on December 18, 2004 to Seth Bertram, a network engineer who's on his way to going into full-time ministry. Any and all Russian majors from the class of 2002 and the faculty are hereby invited to the wedding, in Oklahoma City. And she has a cat named Callie.
