Fun Russian Links
2005

Amy Donahue (Russian): Amy received her Master's in Library and Information Science from the University of Washington in June '07. She's working as an indexer and living in Seattle, WA with her fiance Jason. She's playing a lot of Ultimate Frisbee, and she's looking for ways to keep practicing her Russian, so if any REES alums come out west, she'd be happy to show them around!

Margo Gray (Theatre/Russian)

Andrew Greenberg (Russian)

Benjamin Hanes (Russian): Ben Hanes has been teaching English at a secondary school in the village of Velyka Lepetykha in the Kherson region of Ukraine since October of 2005 as a Peace Corps volunteer. Over two years Ben has learned Ukrainian, taken up the bandura (a Ukrainian folk instrument), authored a grant for an English language resource center in his village, traveled extensively throughout Ukraine, and acquired a taste for salo and kvas. He has greatly enjoyed his cross-cultural odyssey but is eager to return home at the end of November.

Mark Henry (Russian)

Roxanne Young (Russian): Roxanne has relocated to Austin, Texas where she is an Americorps VISTA volunteer working at The Arc of Texas, a non-profit organization serving the mentally retarded and developmentally disabled. She assists in grantwriting, new program development, and fundraising. Roxanne's latest hobby is learning the Texas two-step. Y'all come visit!
