- Argentine writer Elena Bossi (who was a resident at the University of Iowa International Writers Program) visited with Prof. Richter's 285 class and discussed one of her short stories. Also, she gave a public reading of two short stories: El cumpleaños y Los anteojos.(October, 2007)
