Spanish Lab

For the last few years the Department has offered this assistance for students principally in the first four semesters. Four nights a week in the Spanish Seminar Room, ARH 223, the Spanish Assistant plus two Grinnell students are available to help students with oral, listening, reading, and writing practice. The Spanish Department is particularly interested in recruiting student assistants who have studied Spanish at Grinnell and understand the particular difficulties of current students involved in the program. Moreover, less advanced students benefit from the role models provided by advanced students. The Department also attempts to balance the contributions of these advanced students with those of native Spanish speakers now attending the College. Students interested in such an opportunity should contact Professor Aparicio, ext. 4548.

Fall Semester: Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 7 to 9 pm., in ARH 223 (Spanish Seminar Room)
