We work with Grinnell College faculty to help students improve their writing in all academic areas and achieve individual writing goals, whether academic, professional, or personal.

We believe the craft of composition best taught by working one-on-one with students on their own writing. In supportive individual consultations we treat any part of the writing process, from brainstorming ideas, to structuring essays, to achieving power and grace in prose style. Throughout, our approach centers on the concepts of context and audience.
