In Grinnell’s interdisciplinary GWSS curriculum, you examine women, men, gender, and sexuality; study various cultures and historical periods; use diverse research methods; and understand how scholars apply feminist, queer, and intersectional theories. As a major, you take GWSS courses in the humanities, social studies, and sciences and can participate in internships, off-campus study, and mentored advanced projects.  Majors pursue postgraduate studies and careers in a wide variety of fields.
