Why did you choose Grinnell?
I chose Grinnell because of the tight-knit community filled with great people.
What do you love most about Grinnell?
The three things I love most about Grinnell are:
1) It's impossible to get bored. There are so many organizations to get involved with and so many activities on campus that the only way you could get bored is if you stay cooped up in your dorm room all day long.
2) In such a small community, you can easily find many people whose interests stretch across a vast range.
3) Everyone respects each others' interests and ideas, even if they don't agree with them.
What advice do you have for prospective students?
If you have the opportunity to talk with students at the college(s) that you're interested in, be sure to take it. Just looking through a college's website and even visiting may not always be enough to form the basis of your decision. It always seems like sunshine and rainbows on the surface; go to the students if you want real facts about what's going on in the school.
