Why did you choose Grinnell?
I chose Grinnell College because of the student body -- it was a close-knit, open and accepting community that I believed would allow me to be myself and feel comfortable.
What do you love most about Grinnell?
I love the student-professor relationships that you can build. Every professor really wants to see each student grow and wants to have a positive impact on each student's academic and personal growth.
What advice do you have for prospective students?
Take a deep breath and relax. As my dad said to me (he is a college professor) to help me calm down, "Colleges pick students for a reason, because the admissions staff believes you will grow best at that school. With that being said, the school you end up at (whatever one) is the school that will make you the best person you can be."
