What I Do

Joined the admission staff at Grinnell in the summer of 2012. Work with great students prospective first-year students from the Upper Midwest and the Rockies. Help transfer applicants negotiate the admission process to Grinnell. Drink coffee, eat good food, read People magazine (this job requires a lot of waiting in airports!).

What I Did

Grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Majored in history & women's studies at Allegheny College. Completed my M.Ed. in higher education (with a focus in student affairs administration) at Loyola University Chicago. Worked in admission at many wonderful institutions before coming to Grinnell. Lived in Michigan, Pennsylvania (twice!), New York and Illinois before settling in Iowa.

What I Love

The friendliness of small towns and how they feel like home right away. McDonald's French fries. Watching TLC. Playing tennis. Train trips. Painting. Gilmore Girls. Pittsburgh.
