Where are you from originally and what do you like most about living in Grinnell?
I grew up outside of San Francisco, and something I like about Grinnell is how friendly everyone is! Whether I’m walking downtown or going across campus, I am met with a warm smile, a wave, a hello…and now I’m in the habit of greeting people wherever I go as well! It’s great to be a part of such a happy community.
What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy seeing movies at the Strand, grabbing a bite at Lonnski’s (I love their Cali burger), jogging around Arbor Lake, and playing with the dogs at PALS, Grinnell’s animal shelter.
What do you like most about Grinnell students?
What impresses me most about Grinnell students is their modesty. Students here accomplish wonderful things while they’re here (and after they leave), but in my opinion they are not boastful. They work hard, participate in all kinds of activities, and give back to their local community, all while respecting themselves and others.
