Visiting campus is one of the best ways to decide whether Grinnell is right for you. We are more than happy to help you schedule your visit. Admission staff can arrange for a campus tour, a class visit, and accommodations in a residence hall. Please call the Office of Admission at (800) 247-0113 to schedule your visit. Our hours are 8 a.m.– 4 p.m., Monday thru Friday. Refer to our Campus Visit Calendar for best dates to visit.
At Grinnell College we arrange individualized tours for each visitor. The following are just two examples of how your visit to Grinnell College might look. Junior/senior status and time of year affect availability, so please check our visit calendar before scheduling your visit.
Example visit without overnight stay:
9:40 a.m. - Arrive at the Office of Admission
10:00 - Student-led tour
11:00 - Interview or Information Session
Noon - Lunch on campus
1:00 p.m. - Class visitation

11:30 a.m. - Arrive at the Office of Admission
11:45 - Lunch on campus
1:15 p.m. - Class visitation
