Favorite class - So far, my favorite class has been Roman Archeology and Art with Professor Monessa Cummins. Being a psychology major, this class really pushed me out of my comfort zone. It turned out to be my favorite class because it was always challenging, never boring, and changed my way of thinking, which helped me in all my classes.
What is the best thing about Grinnell? I am never bored! There is always something entertaining happening on campus regardless of what your interests are.
What is the worst thing about Grinnell? Being from California, the most difficult thing for me is adjusting to the weather. I love the snow, but I get pretty sick of it after the first couple days.
Why did you choose Grinnell? I chose Grinnell because once I stepped on campus I immediately felt at home. The community on campus and in the town is extremely supportive and friendly. Grinnell is very unique, and there really is no place like it!
What was the most memorable part of your visit as a prospective student? When I came to Grinnell for the first time, I could not believe how nice everyone was. My favorite part was playing volleyball with the women’s volleyball team. The girls were so nice and made me feel really comfortable. I couldn’t wait to be on their team!
What is your favorite Grinnell memory? There have been a lot of great times at Grinnell, but I would have to say Disco is my favorite party of the year. I love that so many students participate, and it is something the whole campus looks forward too.
